Touch UI - Attenuator

The attenuator touch UI provides front-panel control of the attenuation setpoint. The main screen combines large adjustment controls with a central setpoint card and a numeric keypad for direct entry.

Main Setpoint Card

The center card shows the current attenuation setpoint, the configured step size, and the saved startup setpoint. The - and + cards adjust the setpoint by the selected step size.

From this screen you can tap the setpoint value to modify it directly, you can tap the startup attenuation value to modify it directly, or you can tap settings to bring up the settings menu.

Numeric Entry

Tapping the setpoint value opens the numeric keypad. The keypad accepts attenuation values from 0.00 dB through 95.25 dB in 0.25 dB increments.

After Apply is tapped, the touch UI returns to the main setpoint card and shows the applied attenuation value.

Network Settings

The Settings control opens the shared network overview. The overview shows Ethernet and USB-C live addresses, the active mode for each interface, and the reset networking action.

Ethernet Settings

The Ethernet screen selects DHCP fallback, DHCP client, or static mode. It also exposes the configured IP address, netmask, gateway, fallback timeout, live address, and save action.

IP Editor

Address fields open the four-octet editor. Each octet can be adjusted with the + and - controls before applying the value.

Tapping an octet opens the numeric keypad for direct entry. Apply Value writes the edited address back to the network settings screen.

USB-C Settings

The USB-C screen selects DHCP host, static, or disabled mode. In DHCP host mode it also shows the DHCP lease time and address range.

Controls

Control Description
- / + Decrease or increase the attenuation by the current step size.
Setpoint value Opens the direct-entry numeric keypad.
Step Toggles the step size between 0.25 dB and 2.50 dB.
Startup Opens the keypad for the saved power-on attenuation value.
Settings Opens the shared network configuration screens.
